Wal-Mart announces more savings

US retailer has announced another delivery of weekly savings to help families across America cut the cost of Christmas. The company claims that Operation Main Street initiatives have saved shoppers an estimated USD300 million thus far this holiday season. In the continued lead up to the holidays Wal-Mart projects it will save its customers a further USD100 million. Shoppers who have signed up for Wal-Mart’s Savings Alerts by cell phone will be receiving free text messages about savings.
