The Russian retail chain Vester has invested US $ 6 mln. in their second hypermarket opening in Kazakhstan
The hypermarket in Alma-Ata will cover an area of 6600 square meters. The first Vester hypermarket opening was in September 2007 in Karaganda.
The Company is expecting that over 5800 customers will come to the shop in Alma-Ata per day.
The Company “Vester” is developing a retail chain of super- and hypermarket. In October 2008 the group has reducing forecasted (for 2008 years) revenue from 32.4 till 19.4 bln. rubles. In 2007 company revenue was 8,7 bln. rubles and earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) was 336.9 mln. rubles.
