Tesco opens first "zero carbon supermarket"

UK retailer Tesco claims it has opened the world’s first zero carbon supermarket. Recycled vegetable oil, along with food waste, forms the bio diesel that powers the heart and lights at the new store in Ramsey Cambridgeshire. The outlet also features recycled rainwater to flush toilets and the petrol station’s forecourts staying dim until vehicles arrive.
