Tesco joins government scheme to allow women greater work flexibility

Tesco UK has joined a government scheme, the Quality Part Time Work Fund, to enable women greater flexibility in the work place. The scheme will see Tesco and other organisations, including Royal Mail and Durham constabulary, recieve government funding to develop high quality part time posts designed to ensure women workers who opt to reduce their hours, do not end up falling off their career track.
