Sedmoi Kontinent owner may have to sell

According to unconfirmed reports in the Russian press, the owner of Sedmoi Kontinent is considering selling the retailer after failing to meet a margin call from Deutsche Bank. Another option being considered by owner Alexander Zanadvorov is to refinance the debt via state bank VEB, according to the reports, adding that the sum involved was USD576 million.
