Sears Canada introduces 'no payment' plan
Sears Canada has announced that it is introducing a 'no payment' plan just in time for Christmas, as Canadian consumers embark on the busiest shopping weeks of the year. The deferred payment plan is available on all products instore through the month of December. There are no hidden costs, which means no deferral fees, no interest, no taxes or delivery charges payable until April 2009. Sears Canada's deferred payment plan is another way Sears is helping Canadians save money during the Holiday season. Budgets are tight this time of year, and with the deferred payment option customers can pay for their purchases well into the New Year interest free, when they use their Sears Card or Sears MasterCard. "In order to enjoy the Holiday gift giving period to its fullest, Canadians will be looking to stretch their budgets even further this year," said Dene Rogers, President and Chief Executive Officer, Sears Canada. "The 'Buy Anything, Pay Nothing Until April 2009' deferred payment option allows Canadians to do this, while taking advantage of the significant discounts Sears is currently offering on our 'Budget Relief Price Drop' items." All purchases over CAD100 (USD95) are applicable, with the exception of HomeCentral, Sears Travel, Licensed departments and Liquidation/Outlet products.
