“Regionmart” and “Chibis Sistem” are ready for merger

In Siberia might appear second on sales turnover retailer after retail chain “Kholidey” – “Regionmart” and “Chibis Sistem” are ready for merger.

The shareholders of “Regionmart” (“Polyana” hypermarkets)  and “Chibis Sistem” are negotiating about merger, says top-manager one of company – participant of merger. This information has confirmed by Sergei Kolesnik, shareholder of both company. The deal have to be finish till end of 2008.

Revenues of new company might increase till 12 bln rubles, new retailer can be second on Siberia retail market after “Kholidey” (16.9 bln rubles in 2007).
