Metro Group Cash & Carry appoints new MD in the Ukraine

Metro Group-owned Metro Cash & Carry in the Ukraine has appointed Jacquot Boelen as new Managing Director. Jacquot Boelen, who is a top manager at Russia's X5 Retail Group, will assume the new role on 1 January 2010. In 2007-2008 he served as Chief Executive Officer of X5 Retail Group Ukraine. With the appointment of Jacquot Boelen as new Managing Director, Michael Kaiser as Offer Management Director, Jonathan Torr as Customer Management Director and Radoslav Rahnev as Finance Director, Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine has four major changes in its top management. The company will enter 2010 with a complete Board of Directors as the changes started this November will commence by 1 January 2010.
