Media Markt Belgium Banner Director resigns

According to reports in the Dutch press, Jean-Marie Christiaens has resigned as Banner Director of Media Markt in Belgium. The move is a result of corporate re-structuring that will see the merger of the store networks in Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg into a new holding called Media Markt Benelux. Going forward, Christiaens’ role will be jointly carried out by Finance Director Valère Somers, Head of Operations Marc Daeffler and Buying Director Dirk Pijl.
