Euroset seeks to buy rival company

Russian mobile phone retailer Euroset plans to expand its retail operations through the acquisition of a number of rival companies. It intends to bid for retailers Telefon.ru (512 outlets), Betalink (580 outlets) and Tsifrograd (1,451 outlets), according to reports by the local media. It said it would file for the necessary permission from the Federal Anti-trust Service on 6 February.
