Euroset cuts back store network

A drop in demand for mobile phones and high tenancy rates are forcing Russian retailers to ponder curtailing store numbers. Mobile phone retailer Euroset has already launched outlet closures and intends to further cut back store numbers by at least 20%, reports the RBC Daily newspaper. It estimates that the total number of mobile phone stores in Russia will decrease by 25% in 2009.
