Dunkin' Donuts to re-enter Russia
US-based coffee chain Dunkin' Donuts is returning to Moscow, opening its first outlet this week. This move is expected to increase the competition among coffee-shop chains in Russia. The chain left Russia in 1999 following three years of losses and problems with the previous franchisee. The chain has now partnered with Russian franchisee Konstantin Petrov. Parent company Dunkin’ Brands has continued operating in Russia through its ice-cream banner Baskin-Robbins, which currently has 143 locations in the country.
