CKE expands to Kazakhstan
CKE has announced its agreement with Americana Group to build 12 Carl’s Jr outlets in Kazakhstan in a five year programme. Americana Group, one of the main CKE franchisees, currently operates 194 Hardee’s restaurants in the Middle East and plans to open its 200th outlet in the first quarter of the coming year. CKE and Americana Group have been partners for 30 years. The companies have further plans of expansion in the Middle East, with the aim to open 27 new Hardee’s units in 2009.
