Auchan Romania appoints new General Manager

Auchan Romania operator MGV Distri-Hiper has appointed Patrick Espasa as General Manager, Piata magazine reported. Espasa previously worked with Auchan Italy and effective 1 April will replace Regis Mougel, who managed the company since it began in 2006. Earlier this year, Auchan Groupe acquired full control of MGV Distri-Hiper. Following the acquisition, Phillipe Le Grignou was appointed as President of MGV, while Mougel kept his position as General Manager. www.planetretail.net
